Some radios and navigation systems have internal memory and you can upload your own MP3 files.. This may be done by uploading from your USB-Stick. But if you download these files from the cars system on a USB stick, you don't get your file back. You get files in the BR4, BR25, BR27, BR28 or BR29 file format. These formats are not documented and cannot be read by other players or programs.
The aim is to convert these files back to the original file format.
This is done by the BR28_2_MP3.exe software. The data is stored as MP3 or MP4 file and can be used as usual.
